TROOPER (General Infantry)
The initial role for new recruits.
Job Details
The role of the Trooper is to seek out and close with the enemy, to eliminate him using advanced weapon systems, to seize the objective and defend it, even if against overwhelming odds.
Troopers are typically equipped with the AR-30 Assault Rifle. It boasts an aggressive and durable frame, Optical Sight, Mono-Lithium Hydrate fuel cell, a 30 round sub-cell and integrated DMC-12 converter, allowing either single or triple shots. It also has the capability to be configured with a Pulse overdrive, allowing for a single round, ultra high power blast to be fired.
Apart from being employed as a Trooper, soldiers may be required to carry an AR-30B, providing the team with extra firepower. If selected for further training, they may also be utilised as an Assault Trooper, a Recon-Scout, a Combat Engineer, a Sniper or a Specialist.
Main Job Functions:
Troopers are employed to locate and eliminate the enemy through patrolling and surveillance. They may also be required to provide security or protection for other operations or private organisations as required.
Upon detecting the enemy, they will work within their team to utilise 'fire and movement' to eliminate the enemy and complete their section's mission in the required time frame.
Some of the tasks a Trooper may be required to perform are;
· Operate effectively in a Squad or Section
· Support missions in both urban and rural terrain
· Effectively use the AR-30 Assault Rifle
· Support fighting patrols of an area
· Fight the enemy at close range
· Defend fire bases or objectives from enemy attack
· Support an ambush or patrols against the enemy
· Capture or destroy objectives
Job Availability:
Volunteer, Conscripted and Cloned Troopers are currently in high demand with all three of the warring factions; the New Economic Bloc, the Earth Alliance Forces and the United Corporate Federation.

Troopers are the core of the N.E.B, E.A.F and U.C.F forces. They are skilled soldiers who fight the enemy at close quarters, regardless of the season, weather or terrain. Troopers are effective due to individual skill, Squad tactics, teamwork and cooperation.
