HSG-2 Heavy Support Gun Model II
The HSG-2 is the backbone of a Section's fire power and is capable of heavy sustainable fire on point targets beyond 400 meters.
It is fitted with iron sights as standard, a high capacity Mono-Lithium Hydrate Fuel Cell and a 200 round Pulse Ammunition Sub Cell, delivering 10 points damage (per round) to standard Micro-Resonate Body Armour.
The HSG-2 weighs in at 5.2 kilograms and has a sustainable cyclic Rate Of Fire of 760 rounds per minute. The weapon can be deep cycled twice, allowing a minimum 600 rounds of Pulse energy to be fired before needing a recharge.
They are highly suitable for both defensive and offensive roles and most Sections or small Special Ops strike teams will be issued with one or more HSG-2's.
